Kanachur College of Nursing Sciences is situated on University Road, Natekal, Deralakatte, Mangalore, and Karnataka. The institution began its journey with the inauguration of the 4-year Basic B.Sc. Nursing course on October 1, 2016, with an initial intake of 60 students. In 2019, the seat capacity was expanded to 100 students. Today, we are proud to have 400 students actively pursuing their nursing education. Our vision is to deliver high-quality education while fostering values of excellence in nursing education, practice, and research. The mission of Kanachur College of Nursing Sciences is to “Prepare compassionate, dedicated, and skilled nurses who can serve both hospital and community environments”. We aim to achieve global standards in nursing education through innovative teaching methods, excel in research, and empower future nurse leaders to advance the healthcare system. Going forward we plan to enhance the intake capacity of B.Sc. Nursing programme as per the new guidelines of the regulatory bodies.
Under the trust's aegis, a school was founded in 2002, followed by a PU college in 2007, a degree college in 2009, and the medical college, Kanachur Hospital & Research Centre, Physiotherapy College & Allied Health Sciences in 2016 and the Kanachur Ayurveda Hospital and Pharmacy College in 2024. The trust is also planning to establish Kanachur Ayurveda College.
