Moodlakatte College of Nursing is one of the institutes being developed in the year 2020-21 to keep up with the rapid advancement in Health and nursing sciences by Moodlakatte Education Trust, a charitable organization set up for serving the society for uplifting the educational needs of the village people who look forward to learn, earn and develop the needs of the society. Moodlakatte College of Nursing is Approved by Indian Nursing Council- Ref.18-15/15465-INC 253, Karnataka State Nursing Council, Government of Karnataka and Affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Bengaluru.
Health care being the prime concern world over, there is an urgent need to train professional health care workers especially nurses to fill the void that has been witnessed at present times. Big hospitals are being established in the cities and in some places super specialty hospitals are built, there is urgent need for trained health care nurses in these establishments. Nursing is a profession within the health care sector focused on the individual, families and communities, so they attain, maintain or recover optimal health and quality of life which the world fondly welcomes. MCN offers graduate nursing courses with the objective of training strong student force who will become the torch bearers of the noble profession. Nursing courses aim to support the students’ ideas, ethics, and conscience to create nurses of outstanding qualities, who are well aware of the human dimensions in this noble profession.
