SS Institute of Nursing Sciences was established in the year 2003. The College is located at Davangere District in Karnataka. The College is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, approved by KNC and INC. The College offers 4 year BSc Nursing and 2 year MSc Nursing having intakes 100 seats and 8 seats respectively. The College aims to develop broad concept of the fundamental principles of the nursing care based on sound knowledge of physical, biological, social & behavioral sciences & adequate skills to provide professional nursing care. Nurses are taking a central role in patient care and are developing new skills, such as nurse prescribing, as well as becoming specialists in particular therapeutic areas like diabetes, cancer and renal care. The College has well infrastructure including furnished Classrooms, Internet facility, Modern Computer Lab, Library with wide Collection of books, Journals, etc. The teaching faculties are experienced & dedicated and create a friendly atmosphere with the students.
